Tree Climbing

Don Barry shows how to traverse from one tree to another, with a line put in place all from one tree.

Ithaca has rotten rock but has many beautiful tall trees, including sycamores, oaks, and tulip poplars which offer height and broad canopies. Although the traditional skills of smearing and edging and crack/face climbing are of little use on trees, they are great frameworks for practicing ropecraft.
