| Report | After our weekly meeting, two crews dispatched to find salamander mating activity after the spring rains. John and Shannon joined some volunteers aiding a "salamander crossing patrol" on Thomas Rd in Ellis Hollow protecting salamanders crossing a thoroughfare enroute to their annual mating ponds. The rest of us located a spawning nest of about 60 salamanders in one of the Bull Pasture ponds on the Cornell golf course. |
